It’s always great to find a new British beauty brand, and Aurelia is one I’ve recently fallen head over heels for. Over the past two weeks I’ve been trying the Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser which comes packaged in a dainty little pot, and is packed full of probiotic and peptide technologies along with plant and flower essences that nourish and hydrate dehydrated skin. It’s also rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 which I already take in capsule form (as my facialist recommends this for an instant improvement in skin texture) so I was pleased to see that it was on the ingredients list.

Usually I find essential oils irritate my sensitive skin, so I was a little cautious when I first opened the pot and smelled its heady blend of Neroli, Lavender, Rose and Mandarin. I went ahead anyway and applied the rich formula all over my face and neck, and enjoyed how it instantly nourished my very dry skin. (This was after post wedding stress and some cold, windy weather, so very much welcomed).

Although very rich, the cream surprisingly didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy and absorbed quickly and easily into my skin. It also didn’t leave me wanting to apply more which I do find with lighter moisturisers at night time.

The best part about this product was that I saw an instant improvement to my complexion the morning after. My skin was very dehydrated and quite sensitive before applying, so I was so pleased that this moisturiser had calmed everything down and taking control of my dry patches.

Nearly two weeks on, and I’ve been using it every evening and have seen a noticeable improvement in my skin. Everything looks more even, calmer and nourished. It’s a must-try for anyone with sensitive, dry skin that needs a little nourishment.
