Monday the 9th of October could very well have been another grey day in October, until Glossier – the raved-about beauty brand – launched in the UK. Over the last three years, the small but perfectly formed collection of skin, bodycare and makeup has garnered a cult fan base in its home of the US (where it was currently only available), causing growing pleas for international shipping. But at last, our prayers have been answered, and the collection is now available for delivery in the UK, France and Canada (with the exception of Quebec – sorry Quebec).
If you’ve been living under a rock and somehow missed the hype, then acquaint yourself quickly with cult favourites such as the Cloud Paint blushers, Milky Jelly Cleanser and Invisible Shield SPF 35 (I’m not sure how long stocks will last judging on the excitement they’ve garnered). I’ve also snapped up the Balm Dotcom Trio – a customisable three-pack of Glossier’s universal skin salves – in coconut, rose and cherry. I anticipate they’ll fast become my new favourite essential.
One of my favourite things about this brand is that they’re cruelty free and stay true to their ethics by not shipping to countries that test on animals. Need any more convincing? Didn’t think so. Look out for my review of the Cloud Paint Blushers and Balm Dotcom Trio – I’ll be updating you as soon as they arrive on my doormat. In the meantime, take a look at the collection here. Now, how do we get Sephora to open over here too?
